I thought I would help the environment and not waste a tree every time I wanted to read MD, but this is the worst app on my iPad...and not for long. Ive been trying to read the Peter Erskine article in the June issue, but the app crashes on nearly every page. A total waste of $5.00.

Not bad, but I wish there was some kind of reader mode to read the articles as text so I dont have to keep zooming in and out.

Modern Drummer keeps up the news of the drumming world . The only drum magazine that stands out from all , for years to come.

I like this app and have no problem reading or navigating it.

A magazine. About drums. On your iPad. 24/7. Come on. Amazing info, always fun to read. 1,000 stars.

Love the mag but hate your business model.

This is my opinion: The Modern Drummer App does not offer anything else than a scanned version of the magazine. Hard to read and hard to handle on the IPhone. I was disappointed. Basic improvement is needed to meet average publications app-standards. Looking forward to it. I would use an improved version much more than the current one.

This is the leading drum mag? It is a shame on Ipad. The pictures are extremely bad in quality. Super low resolution, even blurry. I have bought two different issues as I couldn’t believe that this is really intended. But both are extremely awful. Maybe the print magazine might be good but a real shame on e-devices. Sorry. I have so many drum mags on my ipad but this one is really hurting my eyes. I am really upset that I bought those issue. I have never seen such a bad quality of an electronic magazine before.

Nice not having to cary my pile of hard copies... But one problem remains in that my editions are way to dark...

Price discrepancy was Canadian US dollars. Couldve been clearer. App support fantastic.

I cant restore my purchases.

How many device I can use? I cant log in! And restore my purchases! No pixel mags support! No old issues!

Cant login!! The App crash at login!!

The best drum magazine of the world in the worse app ever made for a magazine. This last app has a lot of bugs, you cant find oldest editions and many problems to download old purchases. Please came back to the previous version of this app.

One of the advantages of a digital magazine subscription is getting the magazine the day its released. As of today, the latest issue available in the app is the February issue. Yet the printed edition of the March issue has been in my house for about a week. If you ever change the "slower than the postman will deliver it to you" schedule for the digital version, let us know.

This does not allow current subscribers to download or free. If we are already getting digital editions for free via email, why not let current subscribers download issues for free. Most of my other magazine apps (NatGeo, New Yorker) take my current subscription into account and allow me to download current issues for free. I shouldnt have to pay twice for the same thing.

It does not make sense that we should have to pay for this digital subscription if we already own a subscription for the print and "other" digital subscription. Most other magazines get this idea. Save your money and buy the print version instead.

Why would I pay more money for a subscription that only allows me to upset on the iPad when I can get the digital for cheaper and view it on my computer as well. I shouldnt have to pay twice for the same thing anyway!

I have both the hard copy and online subscription and I cant download it for free. Whats the point then? Otherwise the app works great. I like that when you open the app, it opens up where you left off even if you turn your phone off

I was so psyched when i saw modded drummer in the app store. however, Like everyone else, I dont understand why I would have to pay twice to get the hard copy and "digital issue", then pay again to have access on the iPad. I would love to read the magazine on my iPad, but refuse to pay for 2 subscriptions. Ridiculous.
